A Majestic Venue in The Heart of San Antonio

The opulent setting of Devils River Distillery served as the backdrop for this lavish wedding affair. Located within the heart of San Antonio, this registered historic building boasts an interior of grandeur and elegance.

From the moment you step foot into Devils River Distillery, you're transported to a realm of luxury and refinement. The venue, with its dark walls, grand vintage chandeliers, and exposed copper distillery tanks, provides the perfect backdrop for a midsummer night's dream-inspired wedding. Imagine grand vintage furniture, a hand-carved antique bar, and ornate vintage lounge seating, all reminiscent of the Renaissance period.

Romantic Vintage Decor

The stunning decor featured a whimsical blend of soft colors and romantic florals, echoing the beauty of a garden in full bloom. The grooms donned dapper suits in white and powder blue, perfectly complementing the cascading colorful floral arrangements of peach, blush, lavender, and coral blooms. Vintage plates, gold chargers, and blue goblets add a touch of old-world charm to the tables, while lavender napkins tie the look together with elegance.

The sweetheart table, positioned before a backdrop of whisky barrels, featured two luxury vintage chairs and a stunning Greek Roman-style vase overflowing with florals.

Dreamy Ambiance

Soft, purple uplighting cast a dreamy glow over the space. Guests were seated in Chiavari Chairs placed in a circular arrangement, symbolizing the eternal union of love, whilst a solo violinist provided some charming background music. An illuminated “LOVE” sign displayed on the balcony above, reminded guests that love is at the heart of this magical celebration.

A Feast of Culinary Delights

And let's not forget about the feast! From themed cocktails like "the wildflower" to an array of our favorite brunch treats including bagels, deviled eggs, and sandwiches, the food and beverage offerings were nothing short of exquisite.

A beautiful four-tiered white wedding cake sat upon a glass vase filled with florals added a unique and elegant touch. Other delectable sweet treats included a traditional paleta cart and cotton candy station that added a whimsical charm to the festivities.

All the elements of This Midsummer Night’s Dream inspired wedding came together so well and we couldn’t be more grateful to work with some of our favorite vendors on this. It felt like a scene straight out of a fairytale, where love reigns supreme and dreams really do come true.
