Palak + Vandit’s Epic Wedding Day

This couple was such a joy to work with! Indian weddings are all about family and tradition. This wedding really exemplified everything beautiful about this family and this union. Their love marriage came as a welcome surprise to many, but it was clear that their support system was strong and their day was lush and vibrant! The bride was radiant in her traditional lehenga, bangles, and henna. The groom was perfectly coordinated in his sherwani, churidas, and mojari. The pair observed so many traditions symbolizing unity and faith! We created a mandap by using hanging floral to create the entry, another piece to mark the back, and placing the entire wedding under the tent installation at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge in Austin. We also used gold throughout the decor as it really complimented the vibrant shine of the event. You can see some of the traditions in photos below including an epic groom’s entrance (baraat), fire pit for certain traditions, and, of course, dance party!
